Special (Accessible) Education & Student Support Services

Our mission is to ensure that all students with and without disabilities have access to rigorous instruction, materials, and academic choices in an arts-based, holistic environment.  We are committed to serving all students as they learn and grow as self-directed learners who are in charge of their academic journey.  We strive to create equity for students with disabilities by accommodating their needs and celebrating their strengths in an inclusive and diverse community. At Arts in Action, our Special Education Department is more inclusive, and is called, "Accessible Education."

At Arts in Action, we strive to be as inclusive as possible for all students because we believe that every child deserves an opportunity to engage with their peers regardless of their learning differences. Through the collaborative efforts of our school team, our accessible education team focuses on providing all students a meaningful access to a holistic and rigorous instruction.
